Hepsia's File Manager section will let you handle the content of your site using simple point 'n' click movements. Right-click context menus allow fast access to different file management options, while user-friendly drag & drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your desktop PC in no time. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to compress and extract files without difficulty too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your PC. The built-in drag & drop functionality will allow you to effortlessly transfer files between your desktop PC and the web server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your PC and then drag it into your browser window. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk drive. On top of that, you can download files and even folders to your desktop by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager GUI, you can create a brand new file or folder with just one single mouse click. All action buttons are handily placed above the file/folder list and you can update your files effortlessly. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, examine the contents of a file or update its permissions, erase a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you will be able to compress and unarchive all types of files. It works incredibly fast - just select the files you want to compress and push the Compress button. You can even select the type of the new archive (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract an archive file to a selected folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager user interface, you actually do not need any external tools in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which permits you to preview the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will actually appear on the World Wide Web. Furthermore, you will find a set of in-built file editors, which will give you total command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more competent individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
